Micah-John Kershner General That's this same car: http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/gmo/gmo-co3099goa.jpg It was privately owned for all of it's time in Jim Thorpe, and it left in the 1980's. I don't know who the owner was, other than it wasn't RTI or George Hart. Still a pretty obscure car on the east coast, and it's good to see it's still around. 1/5/2011 2:35:17 PM
Robert Curll General Micah my father told me that it was owned by George Hart and that was the only thing I knew about the car other then it was GMO. And it showed up after the RBMN got George hart’s estate. My father has photos from the 80s of it in the train on RTI excursions. So I’m thinking it was RTI. Thanks for the info. 1/5/2011 10:27:52 PM
Micah-John Kershner General It's been out of JT since at least 1988, as I have no recollection of it. It's not on the RTI roster compiled by Kurt Bell, which was as thorough as could be. In past conversation with other RTI'ers, this car and a very nice GTW car were mentioned as being privately owned. Gimme some time and I'll come up with the prior owner. Also, it wasn't my intention to have my first comment repeated three times, if you can delete the 2nd and 3rd ones, that would be just fine with me. 1/6/2011 12:41:51 AM
